What a year, we have learned so much!! We kicked off with a great event in Ghana in February and after that Covid-19 took over the world and everything went quiet. Like everyone else, we started postponing our conferences and events for a couple of months but at the end of the spring season we realized that this might take a bit longer.
To prepare us for our new future we took speed courses in creating video’s and how to produce online events over the summer. And off we went, “building the plane while flying”… This phrase was used many times during the meetings we had with our program committee members. We are so blessed with our awesome and resilient team, everyone stepped up to make this new style of events work. This month we rolled out two virtual events that were supposed to happen in Paris and Abu Dhabi.
Lessons learned this year: nothing beats a live event, we can work from home, being resilient is key, the technique is ready, appreciate the little things in life and most important our team is golden!
Santa Tell Me..
How about the future? Next year we are living in “the new normal”. In-Act Marketing & Organization’s new normal is all about extending its marketing branch and being the best in virtual, hybrid and live events. Hopefully we can go live again mid-2021, not many things are certain, but we do know that we need to be resilient, work together and stay strong and safe.
